Yoga Nidra: 30 minute reset
Yoga Nidra is a practice of subtle awareness, conscious resolve, and deep rest. Before you press play, listen to the introduction track, "Setting Up for Yoga Nidra", and settle yourself somewhere comfortable. A great alternative to your afternoon coffee, or to offset busy-ness or insomnia, is said that 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equal to 2-4 hours of restful sleep.
Though similar to some stages of sleep, Yoga Nidra is not sleep in its traditional sense and encourages you to maintain a observational quality to your body at rest. It is, however, quite common to fall asleep during the practice of Yoga Nidra or you might not hear everything that I say. Rest assured, this is okay, there is no way to do it wrong.
