a Sometimes Silent Solstice
Sunday, DEcember 21, 2025
Remember the promise light gave to return, how we all rely on the turning of the earth toward the sun. This is the shortest day, let’s spend it together. Build a bridge through seasons, across the space between us.
Here on the Winter Solstice is a chance to dip into quietude. Listen Listen Listen! The thrum of our hearts beating, the soft breath on our lips, a year, laying itself down to rest. Here is a day of reflection. A shimmer, a glimmer, there you are! Here is a day of lingering in the threshold, recording our findings, gathering ourselves for the slow waxing of the months ahead.

Gathering in the ethers, aka - online - you can beam in from where-ever you are. In the unscheduled spaces in between gatherings you can stay in our “room” or log off - you’re invited to rest, record, make something, read something, move your body, tend your heart, tend your dwelling, take a bath, take a walk, watch the light for a little while. It’s really up to you how you want to/need to hold your container on our retreat day, though I’ll make some loving suggestions about what might most evoke the retreat space. You’ll receive information in advance and a guidebook with prompts, creative offerings, and poems to inspire you in the between times.
our gatherings will take place on Zoom
all offerings are optional, but are encouraged to set the tone and arc of our intentions
show up as you are - there is no requirement to be on camera or to share
make space where you can - where you can treat this time as sacred - and journey alone/together with your virtual retreat-mates, or
gather with a group of kindred hearts in person and experience the day with them at your sides (please register separately or send me a note about group rates!)
